- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- Oil for frying
- Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
- Mix the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and shredded cheese until well combined.
- Lay a tortilla flat and add a few tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center.
- Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling and place it seam-side down.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the taquitos until crispy and golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
Notes
Don’t overfill the taquitos to avoid mess and ensure even frying. Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling, and maintain oil temperature for perfect crispiness.
