- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Tortillas or pita bread for serving
- Fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) for serving
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl to create the marinade.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they’re thoroughly coated. Cover and let sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for richer flavor.
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook marinated chicken thighs for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Mix yogurt and lemon juice in a small bowl to create the garlic sauce.
- Remove chicken from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken thinly and serve in warm tortillas or pita bread with fresh vegetables and garlic sauce.
