Description

Delicious peanut butter cookie cups with melted Reese’s inside, perfect for Valentine’s Day gifts.


Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 30 miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Jumbo heart sprinkles as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Briefly mix in the baking soda, then add the flour until just combined.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-tablespoon balls and place one in each cavity of the muffin pan.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  7. Press a miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup into the center of each cookie cup.
  8. Gently press a heart sprinkle onto each softened cup.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set.
  10. Carefully remove from the pan and serve.

Notes

For best results, ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing. You can customize with different candies or sprinkles.
