Description

Fresh and flavorful Greek Chicken Wraps filled with juicy marinated chicken, crisp veggies, and a tangy garlic yogurt sauce a quick, healthy meal bursting with Mediterranean flavor.


Ingredients

For the Chicken:

1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce:

3/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp olive oil

12 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Wraps:

4 large pita or flatbreads

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 tomato, diced

1/2 cucumber, diced

1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Optional: Kalamata olives, sliced


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Add chicken and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).

3. Preheat grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

5. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

6. In a small bowl, mix all garlic yogurt sauce ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

7. Warm pita or flatbreads in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.

8. Assemble wraps: spread a generous spoonful of yogurt sauce over each flatbread.

9. Top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, chicken slices, feta, and optional olives.

10. Drizzle with extra sauce and roll up tightly.

11. Serve immediately, or wrap in foil for an on-the-go meal.

Notes

For extra flavor, grill the chicken for a smoky touch.

These wraps can also be made with leftover rotisserie chicken.

Try adding roasted red peppers or hummus for variation.
