- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Fresh fruit for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the angel food cake mix as directed on the package and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in the crushed pineapple (with juice), whipped topping, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts if using.
- Once the cake is cool, spread the pineapple-cream mixture evenly over the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh fruit if desired. Slice and enjoy!
