Description
This Hot Honey Ricotta Dip is a warm, whipped ricotta appetizer topped with spicy-sweet honey and herbs creamy, flavorful, and ready in minutes!
Ingredients
1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese, softened (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
Crusty bread or crackers for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a small oven-safe dish, spread ricotta and cream cheese (if using) evenly.
3. Drizzle with olive oil, season lightly with salt and pepper.
4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until warm and slightly golden around the edges.
5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, warm the honey with red pepper flakes and smoked paprika.
6. Remove ricotta from oven and drizzle generously with the hot honey.
7. Top with fresh herbs and serve warm with bread or crackers.
Notes
For a milder version, reduce red pepper flakes.
Try adding a sprinkle of crushed pistachios for crunch.
Pairs beautifully with crostini, pita, or apple slices.
