Description

A quick and delicious weeknight meal featuring tender beef and sweet bell peppers, perfect for the whole family.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into strips
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all the ingredients thoroughly and heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Perfect served with cauliflower rice or steamed broccoli. For a low-carb option, serve in lettuce wraps.
