Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared bundt pan, then spoon in the cream cheese filling, and top with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool, then remove from the pan.
  8. Frost with cream cheese frosting before serving.
