Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. Toss in the sliced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour into the skillet, coating the chicken evenly.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until well combined and heated through, about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
