- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 cup corn kernels (canned or frozen)
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir and cook for about 7-10 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Add the corn to the skillet and mix well.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the corn is warmed.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the hot honey over the beef mixture.
- Stir well to combine and ensure the meat is evenly coated.
- To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of rice or quinoa in each bowl.
- Top with the hot honey beef, green onions, and avocado slices if using.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
