  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels (canned or frozen)
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir and cook for about 7-10 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the corn to the skillet and mix well.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the corn is warmed.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the hot honey over the beef mixture.
  8. Stir well to combine and ensure the meat is evenly coated.
  9. To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of rice or quinoa in each bowl.
  10. Top with the hot honey beef, green onions, and avocado slices if using.
  11. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
