Description
A luxurious appetizer featuring creamy whipped feta topped with sweet roasted grapes, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of hot honey the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and spicy.
Ingredients
8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup seedless red or black grapes
1 tbsp olive oil (for roasting)
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey with chili flakes)
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Salt and black pepper to taste
Crusty bread or pita chips for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Toss grapes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.
3. Roast for 15–18 minutes until grapes are soft and slightly blistered.
4. Meanwhile, in a food processor, blend feta, Greek yogurt, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.
5. Toast walnuts in a dry pan for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
6. Spread the whipped feta onto a serving platter or shallow bowl.
7. Top with roasted grapes, toasted walnuts, and fresh thyme.
8. Drizzle generously with hot honey before serving.
9. Serve with warm bread or pita chips.
Notes
For a tangier flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the whipped feta.
Substitute grapes with roasted figs or cherries for a seasonal twist.
You can make the whipped feta a day ahead and store it in the fridge — just give it a quick stir before serving.
