Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, center-cut
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 1 Lemon, thinly sliced for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly oil a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 60 seconds until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and whisk in the lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
  4. Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels, then place it in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  5. Pour about three-quarters of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon. Lay the thinly sliced lemon on top for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
  6. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, until it turns opaque and flakes easily when you poke it with a fork.
  7. Remove the dish from the oven and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter sauce. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with a mixed green salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
