Description
A vibrant and refreshing fruit salad perfect for breakfast or brunch, combining strawberries, bananas, grapes, and a creamy yogurt dressing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Strawberries (washed and cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup Green Grapes (washed and halved)
- 1 cup Red Grapes (washed and halved)
- 1 cup Blueberries (washed)
- 1 Apple (washed, cored, peeled, and diced)
- 1 Banana (peeled and sliced)
- ¼ cup Pecans (chopped)
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 – 2 tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
- ½ tsp Almond Extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all of the fruits, tossing them gently to mix. If you’re preparing ahead of time, hold off on adding the banana until just before serving to keep it fresh.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and almond extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the yogurt mixture into the fruit, tossing to coat all the pieces evenly.
- Top with chopped pecans for an added crunch and enjoy! Serve it in individual bowls or a large bowl for everyone to help themselves. For an elegant touch, you can add some mint leaves as a garnish.
Notes
For the best flavor, use ripe, fresh fruits. Add citrus juice to prevent browning of apple and banana. Can be prepared in advance without banana and store in the fridge.
