Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brownie batter (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium bowl until it’s melted but not bubbling.
  3. Mix in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until you achieve a creamy texture.
  5. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Add a small amount of brownie batter on top of each cookie dough ball.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
