- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup brownie batter (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium bowl until it’s melted but not bubbling.
- Mix in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until you achieve a creamy texture.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Add a small amount of brownie batter on top of each cookie dough ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
