These Cheeseburger Cabbage Wraps bring a delicious twist to a classic favorite, bursting with savory flavors and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Ketchup (optional)
  • Mustard (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the cabbage head into individual leaves. Set those aside while we prepare the filling.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef along with the diced onions. Stir occasionally until the beef turns brown and the onions soften, around 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the pan. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  4. Take a cabbage leaf and add a generous scoop of the beef mixture right in the center. Top it with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and optional toppings.
  5. Roll the cabbage leaf tightly around the filling like a burrito. Ensure it’s sealed well.
  6. Enjoy these wraps fresh off the skillet or serve with a garden salad or sweet potato fries.
