Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your doughnut pan.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
- Mix the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine until just mixed.
- Fill the doughnut pan with the batter, making sure not to overfill.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the doughnuts to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Coat the warm doughnuts in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
