- 1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the melted butter and press it firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Prepare the filling by beating the cream cheese until smooth, then gradually adding the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
- Combine the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently.
- Add in the remaining crushed Oreo cookies for texture.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake the cheesecake for about 50-60 minutes until the edges are firm and the center has a slight jiggle.
- Cool the cheesecake at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Garnish with extra crushed Oreo cookies before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or chocolate sauce for extra flair. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5-7 days.
