Description

A vibrant dish that combines the zing of fresh lemon, the richness of butter, and hearty chicken with bowtie pasta and broccoli, making it perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 unit lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Toss in broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, and mix well.
  7. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in the sauce. Serve hot with optional parsley garnish.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Adjust lemon to taste and don’t forget to season properly!
