- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 cup real crab meat (lump or claw)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (like parsley or dill)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms under cool water and gently remove the stems.
- Mix together the crab meat, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
- Mix the panko breadcrumbs with olive oil; sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top of each stuffed mushroom.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly on top.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
Serve with a simple green salad or crispy garlic bread, and consider garnishing with fresh herbs.
