Instructions
- Start by peeling and slicing the ripe avocado.
- Mash it in a bowl for an extra creamy texture, then add salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat until it warms up nicely.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread to give that golden, crispy finish.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Spread the mashed avocado on the unbuttered side of the bread, making sure to cover it evenly.
- Layer the cheese on top of the avocado, allowing it to melt beautifully.
- Cover with the second slice of bread, making sure the butter-side is up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, usually about 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip and cook until the cheese melts and everything is deliciously toasty.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
