Instructions

  1. Start by peeling and slicing the ripe avocado.
  2. Mash it in a bowl for an extra creamy texture, then add salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat until it warms up nicely.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread to give that golden, crispy finish.
  5. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  6. Spread the mashed avocado on the unbuttered side of the bread, making sure to cover it evenly.
  7. Layer the cheese on top of the avocado, allowing it to melt beautifully.
  8. Cover with the second slice of bread, making sure the butter-side is up.
  9. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, usually about 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip and cook until the cheese melts and everything is deliciously toasty.
  10. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
