- Mix the sour cream or mascarpone in another bowl until smooth.
- Heat the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved, avoiding boiling.
- Fold the dissolved gelatin into the whipped cream mixture gently.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the gelatin mixture until fully combined.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
