- 1 cup protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond or peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1/2 cup nuts or seeds (optional)
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the oats, protein powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Blend wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the nut butter, honey or maple syrup, egg whites, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry: Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly combined.
- Add optional ingredients: Fold in the nuts or seeds and dried fruit for added texture.
- Spread the mixture: Transfer it onto the baking sheet, pressing down firmly to form clusters.
- Bake: Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
- Cool and break: Allow to cool completely before breaking into clusters.
