Description

Crispy wonton cups filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, perfect for gatherings and family nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • Cooking spray or oil
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, diced tomatoes, lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain any excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and add a little water according to the packet’s instructions, stirring until well combined.
  4. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing gently to fit.
  6. Fill each wonton cup with the beef and cheese mixture, being careful not to overfill.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are crispy and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving and top with optional garnishes like sour cream, salsa, or fresh vegetables.
