Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 spring roll wrappers
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix together the shrimp, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large bowl.
  2. Lay a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface and place a small amount of the shrimp filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides over the filling and then roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat, ensuring you have enough oil to fully cover the spring rolls.
  5. Fry the spring rolls in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the rolls from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
