Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl until combined.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  4. Fold in the chopped pistachios and chocolate chips until well distributed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
