- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl until combined.
- Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Fold in the chopped pistachios and chocolate chips until well distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
Notes
For an extra treat, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.
