- 1 17.6 oz package of frozen konafah or kataifi dough, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons of salted butter
- Salt to taste
- Chocolate (e.g., milk chocolate bar or chocolate chips)
- Chopped pistachios
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped konafah dough in batches, cooking on medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes until browned.
- Mix the konafah with the pistachio cream in a bowl to create a nutty filling.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat until smooth.
- Layer the sliced strawberries in clear cups, followed by the konafah and pistachio mixture. Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Repeat the layers until desired height is achieved. Serve immediately.
Notes
For the best flavor, use ripe strawberries and serve while the konafah is still warm for added crunch.
