Description

Deliciously fluffy baked donuts that melt in your mouth, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the guilt of frying.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate glaze (for topping)
  • White chocolate glaze (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. You want it to be smooth but don’t overmix!
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter, leaving a little space at the top for them to rise.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes in the pan, then pop them out and glaze them.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
