- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate glaze (for topping)
- White chocolate glaze (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. You want it to be smooth but don’t overmix!
- Fill the donut pan with the batter, leaving a little space at the top for them to rise.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes in the pan, then pop them out and glaze them.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
