Description
A quick and delicious Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta, perfect for any occasion with a blend of rich flavors and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 200g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Start by boiling water in a large pot. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Melt the Butter: While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn!
- Cook the Shrimp: Toss in the shrimp and cook them until they turn pink, which typically takes about 2-3 minutes.
- Create the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring everything to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts into the sauce and becomes creamy.
- Season It Up: Sprinkle in some salt and pepper to taste, adjusting it according to your preference.
- Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything until well combined. Make sure the pasta is fully coated in that delicious garlic-butter sauce.
- Serve Hot: Serve the pasta hot from the skillet, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for that beautiful pop of color.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
