Ingredients

- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes per side.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
- Toss in the butter and melt it, then add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Add the zucchini and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the skillet for the perfect sear, and feel free to experiment with different proteins or seasonings.
