- 1 package kunafa dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the kunafa dough with melted butter until every strand is coated.
- Layer half of the dough into a baking dish, pressing it down gently.
- Spread the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses over this layer.
- Top with the remaining kunafa dough to cover the cheese.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and edges are crisp.
- Drizzle warm sugar syrup over the top before serving.
Notes
Serve with ice cream or fresh fruits for added flavor. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
