Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Mix well and serve the meatballs warm with the tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For best results, keep ingredients cold and use fresh herbs. Serve with a Greek salad or in wraps for added flavor.
