Description

Delicious and easy-to-make healthy peanut butter cups that combine creamy peanut butter with rich dark chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until fully combined.
  3. Line a muffin tin with papers.
  4. Pour a small amount of the melted chocolate into the bottom of each paper liner and let it set slightly.
  5. Add a spoonful of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
  6. Top with more melted chocolate to cover the peanut butter layer.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cup.
  8. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
  9. Enjoy your healthier peanut butter cups!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week or freeze for up to three months.
