Description

A creamy and delicious homemade hummus that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Paprika and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a food processor.
  2. Blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with paprika and parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the hummus rest for at least an hour before serving. Adjust garlic to taste.
