Description

Delicious crispy chicken wings coated in a sweet and tangy honey BBQ sauce, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the wings into drumettes and wingettes. If you want, you can discard the tips. Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper to the wings. Mix everything thoroughly to coat each wing evenly.
  3. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking tray with aluminum foil and parchment paper.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Flip the wings and bake for another 20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
  6. While the wings are baking, mix the BBQ sauce and honey together. If needed, warm them in a saucepan.
  7. Once the wings are done baking, toss them in the honey BBQ sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure even coating and crispy skin by using baking powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
