- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup hot fudge sauce
- Whipped cream for topping
- Cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding the vegetable oil and eggs. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let it cool.
- Beat together the cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth, then add the vanilla extract.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the sour cream until combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie crust.
- Bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Heat the hot fudge sauce and drizzle it over the cheesecake before serving.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with cherries.
Notes
Allow the cheesecake to chill overnight for better flavor and texture. Consider using a water bath for even baking.
