Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding the vegetable oil and eggs. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let it cool.
  4. Beat together the cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth, then add the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the sour cream until combined.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Heat the hot fudge sauce and drizzle it over the cheesecake before serving.
  10. Top with whipped cream and garnish with cherries.
