Description

A delicious and easy meal featuring sweet honey, spicy hot sauce, and creamy feta cheese that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and generously coat them with the marinade.
  4. Bake the chicken for 22-28 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Add the crumbled feta on top of the chicken and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle some of the pan sauce over each piece of chicken before serving.

Notes

For a milder version, use less hot sauce or choose a milder one. Marinating the chicken for a few hours or overnight enhances the flavor.
