- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Melt the butter in the same skillet.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer while stirring frequently.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let the sauce thicken slightly.
- Slice the rested steaks against the grain and plate them.
- Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce generously over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
