Description

A delicious low-carb twist on traditional lasagna, made with layers of cheese and eggs instead of pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cream cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, parmesan, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading it into a thin layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  4. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet until fragrant. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Layer the keto noodles in a baking dish, then spread ricotta cheese, the meat mixture, and some mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, topping with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs and spices to the meat sauce. You can also swap the ground beef for ground turkey or sausage for a different twist.
