- Pasta of your choice
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
- ¼ cup Heavy cream (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until it becomes slightly golden.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.
- Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest, mixing everything together.
- If using, add the heavy cream and mix until well combined.
- Season your sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, ensuring it’s well coated. If it seems a little dry, add a splash of the pasta water.
- Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For added protein, consider including grilled chicken or shrimp. Fresh herbs can also enhance flavor.
