Ingredients

- 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (zest and juice)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain it and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook until fragrant but not browned—about 30 seconds.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, along with the lemon zest and juice.
- Mix everything well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve your Lemon Pasta topped with fresh herbs and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
