Description

A creamy and zesty lemon dessert that’s easy to make and refreshing for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is just about to boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes before pouring it into your serving dishes.
  4. Pop the filled serving dishes into the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  5. Serve cold, optionally garnished with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For best results, use fresh lemons and allow enough time for it to chill before serving.
