- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the banana, spinach, almond milk, matcha powder, and honey or maple syrup if you’re using it.
- Blend until smooth to combine all the ingredients nicely. The smoothie should take on a lovely bright green color.
- If you prefer it chilled, add ice cubes and blend again until icy.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
For a creative presentation, drizzle honey or sprinkle extra matcha powder on top. Pair with whole-grain toast or granola for a balanced meal.
