Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini doughnut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the mini doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the doughnuts are lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the doughnuts to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
- While warm, coat each doughnut in a generous amount of powdered sugar.
- Serve and enjoy your mini powdered sugar doughnuts!
