Description

Delightfully fluffy mini doughnuts coated in powdered sugar, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini doughnut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the mini doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the doughnuts are lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the doughnuts to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
  8. While warm, coat each doughnut in a generous amount of powdered sugar.
  9. Serve and enjoy your mini powdered sugar doughnuts!
