Description

Delicious, chewy protein balls inspired by classic monster cookies, perfect for a healthy snack or treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup M&Ms or similar candy-coated chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), protein powder, and vanilla extract. Stir until you achieve a smooth, cohesive mixture.
  2. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and M&Ms.
  3. If the mixture feels too wet, add more oats or protein powder until it becomes firm but moldable.
  4. Use your hands to form small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.

Notes

For best results, use natural peanut butter and allow enough time for chilling. You can substitute peanut butter with nut-free options if necessary.
