A comforting dish of seared chicken and rich buttery noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by prepping your ingredients. Chop the garlic and any vegetables you’d like to include.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown. Season the chicken with salt and pepper as it cooks.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring everything to a boil.
- Stir in the egg noodles, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the noodles reach an al dente texture.
- Once the noodles are cooked, remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the remaining butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
