- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping the garlic and any additional veggies you’d like to include.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of butter. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over both sides of the chicken.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles to the bubbling broth, stir, then reduce the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
- Remove from heat and stir in the remaining butter, letting it melt.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Make sure to season the chicken well for great flavor. You can add extra vegetables, such as peas or bell peppers, for added nutrition and taste.
