- 1 pound frozen French fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked sausage (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
- Fresh basil for garnishing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spread the frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on the Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Toss them gently to coat.
- Bake the fries according to the package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Once they’re cooked, take the fries out of the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and any other toppings on top.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and become bubbly.
- Let them cool for a couple of minutes. If desired, garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
