Description

A fun twist on comfort food combining crispy fries, savory ground beef, and gooey cheese.

Ingredients

  • Frozen French fries
  • Ground beef
  • Cheese (cheddar or American)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and bake the frozen French fries according to the package instructions until they are crispy and golden brown (around 20-25 minutes).
  2. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and finely chopped onions. Sprinkle in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook this mixture until the beef is browned (about 7-10 minutes), breaking up the beef as it cooks.
  3. Once the fries are golden and crispy, remove them from the oven and pile the cooked ground beef mixture on top.
  4. Generously add your cheese of choice on top of the beef. Return the loaded fries to the oven and let them bake for a couple more minutes until the cheese melts.
  5. Serve hot with ketchup, mustard, and pickles on the side for everyone to add their favorite toppings!

Notes

Customize with fun toppings like jalapeños, tomatoes, or lettuce. Season well for the best flavor!
