- 140 g brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons rapeseed oil
- 2 eggs
- 250 g rice flour (or wheat or spelt flour)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 60 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 liter milk
- 200 g couverture chocolate
- 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil (for melting chocolate)
- White chocolate sprinkles or other sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) with the top/bottom heat setting on. Grease a donut pan for 12 donuts.
- Beat the brown sugar, oil, and eggs together until light and fluffy.
- Combine the rice flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder in another bowl.
- Whisk the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, until you achieve a smooth batter.
- Fill the donut cavities about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Bake for about 13 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt the couverture chocolate with a tablespoon of rapeseed oil, then dip the cooled donuts in chocolate and add sprinkles.
Notes
