- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Dipping sauce (ranch or blue cheese)
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs and hot sauce until well combined.
- Mix the breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the chicken nuggets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Drain the nuggets on paper towels to absorb excess oil, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
