Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Dipping sauce (ranch or blue cheese)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs and hot sauce until well combined.
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
  5. Fry the chicken nuggets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Drain the nuggets on paper towels to absorb excess oil, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
